Dr. Anders is a board certified psychiatrist. She received her Medical Degree at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After completing three years of a psychiatric residency at University of Arkansas in Little Rock, she moved to Chicago to complete her psychiatric training at Northwestern Memorial hospital. Dr. Anders has had further training in the Adult Psychotherapy Program of the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis and psychotherapy.

Personal Statement

My practice is patient-oriented care and service. I have many modalities of treatment and can recommend the best options for you. However, please remember the treatment plan is a combination of both our understandings of the presenting symptoms. Your input is valuable and necessary. I spend ample time educating about options and am available for questions or concerns, then together we make treatment decisions.

Being available is one of the most important aspects of my practice. I easily return calls the same day and am personally available for emergencies 24 hours a day. I have flexible office hours to make it easier for you.
