Nicole Aubrey Runyon, LMSW, is a psychotherapist and a certified yoga instructor. Nicole’s clinical training began at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she received her BA in Psychology. She continued her formal education at Wayne State University, where she received a Masters degree in Social Work. Nicole has extensive clinical training with adults, adolescents and children. Nicole is a certified Ashtanga Yoga instructor, as well as a children's yoga instructor, certified through YogaEd.

Personal Statement

I have always known I wanted to be a therapist. From a very early age, I wanted to help others find their true essence. I feel very lucky to be able to do what I do, because it is very valuable work. I know that I will always grow as a therapist as I learn more and more about others, my clients, as well as those in my personal life.

I am currently incorporating my work with primary care physicians in a medical practice. I am interested in integrating mental health therapy with traditional medicine, as it is my contention that the mind and body are connected.
