Personal Statement
Having been in practice for over a decade, I have learned that life experiences are the most powerful sources of education. Being a therapist, wife, and mother of two boys, provides me with great joy and the ability to relate to my clients and truly connect, because whether in the office or not, I am a real person. I find that my clients often make such wonderful progress because they view me not as an authority figure, but a partner on their journey of self discovery and betterment. I treat my clients with the utmost respect and empower them to view the challenges they face as an opportunity to learn and grow. With this functional health perspective comes practical, real solutions, complimented by my nurturance, knowledge, wisdom and heart that comes from being the mother of a special needs child. I am truly honored and humbled by the opportunity to help someone make their life better and am thankful everyday I have the opportunity to do so.
