Personal Statement

I believe in the process of therapy and the potential for personal growth. I think that one of the greatest gifts a person can give to oneself is the chance to create a life of choices and greater joy. I believe that one of the most important aspects of the therapeutic process is th trust built between client and therapist, because it is with this alliance that change and healing can occur. Life is about choices and options, but people need support and someone with a caring spirit. Whether, you are suffering from depression, have a loved one who is suffering, there is hope if you reach out to the right professional. I believe in what I do and I love my work.

I learn something new everyday from my clients and my clients make the choices to create a healthy choices and I am there to guide and encourage as well as provide my clinical experience. The one book that changed my life and which I refer to a great deal is "The Road Less Traveled." In the book the author talks about change and choices and how our difficult life experiences can be our most important paths to a more authentic life. It is the path at the crossroads, which makes all the difference. It can be scary to call a therapist and reach out, but I listen and help guide, but in a supportive and non-judgmental manner.
