Imago Relationship Therapy is a specialized way of working with couples which is highly effective in giving couples the skills and tools required to create the relationship they desire. It is based on the work of Harville Hendrix author of the best selling book Getting The Love You Want.

Personal Statement
As an Imago Relationship Therapist I am uniquely qualified to teach couples how to both create and sustain healthy, satisfying and life giving relationships. I teach and help couples integrate the important skills of Effective Communication, Conflict Resolution, Empathy, Validation and Emotional Safety. I also assist them in creating a joint vision for their relationship. All of these skills are also highly effective in co-parenting both children and adolescents.Some of the issues couples bring which I am skilled in helping with are Communication, Finances, Parenting, Intimacy, Sexual
Compatibility, Spending time together, and bringing romance back to the relationship, as well as other aspects of couples' lives that need attention.
The greatest value of this work to couples is that they continue to use the skills and tools necessary to sustain a satisfying relationship, long after their work with me is complete. I believe, that when the important relationships in our lives are going well we have the energy and support to face life challenges and we also have deeper enjoyment of the good in our lives.
