Personal Statement

Yes we can! Self-defeating behavior and destructive emotions can be changed.

It has been demonstrated that a good psychotherapy does a lot more than help you resolve problems. As a person develops psychological capacity through psychotherapy their brain grows new structures that we can actually see on neuro-imaging instruments. In a very real way, depth therapy is a biological intervention. It changes the anatomy and function of the brain.

I am a sensitive therapist with extensive training in diagnosing and treating complex emotional problems. Additionally, I am particularly interested in psychological resilience. I recently published an award-winning paper on psychological resilience.

From a psychological point of view, resilience is a set of mental capacities that strengthen your ability to resolve difficult emotions and build enriching relationships. Resilience can be cultivated.

I provide a therapeutic environment that allows you to address current life obstacles, transform destructive emotion and build a repertoire of skills that improve the way you feel and relate with other people.
