What's the difference between the $300 Therapist Profile and the $100 Directory Submit?
The Therapist Profile is an in-depth, one-page profile on FindCounseling.com. This option is designed to give potential clients a comprehensive image of your services and includes the following features:- Specialty Statement
- Educational Overview
- Personal Statement
- Treatment Areas
- Treatment Modalities
- Up to four office locations
- Managed Care Organizations
- Languages Spoken
- Therapist Gender
- Website Link (Optional)
- Email form (Optional)
- Personal Photo (Optional)
Therapist Profiles are featured in FindCounseling.com directory searches and appear in Google searches for relevant queries.
The Directory Submit does not provide a full-page listing, but allows users who have a personal website to be included in our directory with a link to their site. Directory listings feature the therapist's name and a brief description of their services. These listings appear in user searches and are featured on individual pages for a therapist's city and state.

How do potential clients find my listing?
FindCounseling.com helps you reach potential clients in two ways.
Our Therapist Profiles are listed high on Google, MSN, Yahoo! and other search engines, which means that potential clients find your page via their everyday searches for relevant queries.
Individuals looking for a therapist can also search the FindCounseling.com database directly to be matched with a list of therapists who match their specifications. - Google will index your page at its own pace. This usually happens within two to six weeks.
- Your FindCounseling.com subscription is billed just once per year. Billing occurs at the completion of the sign-up process and once per year at the anniversary of your subscription.
- To edit your listing, simply log in and choose Profile/Directory. Select the section you wish to edit. When you are done making changes, click the "Request Changes" button. Your changes will be reviewed by our editorial team and may take up to 48 hours to go live.

I have completed the signup process but my page isn't listed.
After you have completed your listing and entered your billing information, it is sent to our editorial team for review. It may take up to 48 business hours for approval. You will be sent an email notification when the listing is made public. -
I don't remember my username or password.
Your username is simply your email address. We are no longer using separate usernames. To recover your password, visit the Forgot Password page. Enter your email and your password will be sent to you shortly. - Some email servers may block automated emails from our site. To be sure you are receiving all communications, please add directorysubmit@findcounseling.com and info@findcounseling.com to your list of trusted senders.
- Members who signed up under the $100 Directory Listing option can now take advantage of the full-page Therapist Profile in just a few clicks. Simply log in to the Member's Center and click on the "Upgrade" link in the welcome message. On the next page choose the Upgrade Now button to begin building your Profile.

I'm taking a break from my practice. Can I take down my listing during this time?
Yes. You can temporarily remove your listing from public view by choosing Suspend My Listing under Billing. Doing so allows you to maintain your FindCounseling.com subscription when you are not actively practicing. You can reinstate your profile at any time by choosing Restore My Listing. This time is not counted against your subscription period. - To cancel your FindCounseling.com subscription, log into the Member Center and choose Billing. Select Cancel/Suspend Membership button at the bottom of the page and select the most appropriate option from the next page.
