Sara is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with experience working with adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to define clear goals in a warm and affirming setting. Sessions are goal oriented helping the client gain insight into what may be the causes of the current struggle and finding effective skills for change.<br /><br /><br /><br />Sara is a staff counselor with Associates in Professional Counseling and holds a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology form Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. I never believe in giving up. Each one of us has a purpose here on earth. I believe that my purpose or passion is to help others find theirs. Sometimes we all feel stuck and I work hard to instill hope. Depression or anxiety don't have to hold you back from pursuing your dreams. Family conflict doesn't mean giving up on each other. A troubled teen doesn't have to mean a troubled adult. My passion is to teach others the coping skills they need to reach out on their depression, push their anxiety aside and find harmony again in their home. A non-judgemental approach is used.
