Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety disorders cause intense feelings of anxiety and tension when there is no real danger. The symptoms cause significant distress and interfere with daily activities. Sufferers of anxiety disorders usually take extreme measures to avoid situations that provoke anxiety.

The physical signs of anxiety are restlessness, irritability, disturbed sleep, muscle aches and pains, gastrointestinal distress, and difficulty concentrating.
