Licensed Social Work Associate
A Licensed Social Work Associate is an entry-level license reserved for Social Workers with a Bachelor's degree in social work, and who have completed between 2000 and 3000 hours supervised work experience. Some states use the term Bachelor Social Worker as an entry-level license.A Licensed Social Worker would be considered the full license level (although in some states that title is an entry-level one as well). Fully trained Social Workers typically have a Master's degree and an additional 2000-3000 hours of supervised work experience. States may also use the following titles: Licensed Certified Social Worker, Licensed Graduate Social Worker, Certified Master Social Worker, Master Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical, and Licensed Advanced Social Worker.
