Patients who suffer from both Attention Hyperactivity Deficit Disorder (ADHD) and anxiety disorders may have success when prescriped with atomoxetine (marketed as Strattera), according to a presentation at 53rd annual meeting of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).

Researchers studied 132 individuals with both ADHD and a comorbid anxiety disorder. Participants received either a placebo pill or a variable dosage of amoxetine.
