Survey: Many Workers Suffer Abusive Boss

A Florida State University survey shows that a quarter or more of American workers have experienced mistreatment by their supervisor. Reported offenses included silent treatment (31 percent), badmouthing (27 percent), invasions of privacy (24 percent) and using employees as scapegoats (23 percent).
