Dr. Robin Hornstein has a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Temple University. After 20 plus years as a therapist Robin has trained in many specialties and theories. Robin considers herself a creative therapist utilizing body work, poetry and imagination to round out the traditional talk therapy she conducts.

Personal Statement

I love my job. I have worked in the mental health field since 1983 and have found that working with people who are seeking to change old patterns and find a renewed interest in life is very rewarding. The clients I work with challenge their beliefs, honor their feelings and try out new ways of handling stress in this very stressful world we live in. I believe everyone can find the inner smile that helps them through the difficulties they have experienced. My clients are not aiming for happiness, although that comes from time to time, rather they seek contentment, peace and acceptance.
