Personal Statement

I have enjoyed my 29 years of counseling immensely...guiding people in coping with crisis, assisting in facing and dealing with difficult and painful emotions, facilitating communication and cooperation in relationships (husband-wife, parent-child, or adult child), dealing with painful life transitions, seeing a person in successful 12 step recovery, coaching to see goals met.

As a Christian, I enjoy working in all of the above areas from a Christian perspective. I especially appreciate the Serenity Prayer.

Clients find me easy to talk to, and appreciate my active counseling style. Whenever possible I see positive outcomes and am solution-focused.
