Dr. Jacquot specializes in healing relationships, trauma (emotional, physical, sexual), undoing the effects of stress, and chronic stress and healing from addictions.

Overview

Margo earned a doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1994, but she has been a practicing therapist since 1987. In addition to being a Certified Addictions Counselor in the state of Illinois, Margo has completed extensive training in working with trauma and stress, including a 9 month course in understanding and undoing the effects of trauma and stress on the mind, brain and body. As an adjunct faculty member at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (1995-present) Margo has taught doctoral level students courses in Trauma Therapy (abuse, neglect, accidents, disasters), Couples and Family Therapy, and courses in healing from addictions and other compulsive behaviors.

Margo is also certified in treating LGBT clients and is a trainer in the Clinical Training Center at Live Oak in Chicago.

Margo believes that the learning process never ends so she attends trainings regulary.

As the founder and Director of the Juniper Center, Margo works with a talented group of therapists with a varity of specialties.
