Personal Statement

I have been providing professional, confidential counseling services to individuals, couples and families since 2001. My mission is to give clients the tools they need to improve their relationships and better reach their goals. This mission first led me to found my own successful practice, then to co-found Urban Balance, LLC, where I continue to grow the counseling practice into new locations. My therapeutic style is interactive and goal oriented. I use a client-centered approach that starts by identifying client strengths. She specializes in relationship issues, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety and life transitions. Previously I worked for a national Employee Assistance Program where I provided HR management consultation.
