But I know it can also be difficult to reach out for help. When people reach out for my help, I assist them in determining how their thoughts, feelings and behaviors impact their present situation. I genuinely care for my clients and believe in their ability to change and grow. I believe in starting from where they're at and strive to address issues in a compassionate, respectful and direct manner.

I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional and behavioral problems as well as with adults suffering from their own substance abuse or a loved one's addiction. I have been successful reaching troubled young people through developing a trusting relationship and confronting the problem in a non-threatening and non-judgmental way. I think the use of humor can be a key factor for understanding differences of opinion. I approach problems systemically and try to include other involved parties such as family members and educational staff.

I like empowering others to make healthy changes in their lives. I will listen carefully, so I understand your personal goals. My objective is to recommend strategies to enhance your mental well-being, as well as walk with you each step of the way through your struggles. Together, we can improve the quality of your life.
