Overview

Dr. Milner is a licensed psychologist, holding a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

He has experience working with children, adolescents, families, couples and individual adults in diverse settings over the past 30 years. In this time, he has worked as a private practice psychologist serving individuals, couples and families, a Clinical Associate at the University of Denver School of Professional Psychology, a consulting psychologist within a school system, and the director of an alternative school program for adolescent youth.

Since 1988, he has also provided pro-bono counseling and consultation services to organizations including the Mental Health Association of Colorado, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and Allied Housing for the Elderly and Disabled.

My role as a psychologist is to provide you with a confidential, caring and professional setting to privately address your concerns. From the first session, your counseling goals and objectives will guide the counseling process. Our work together will help you build your strengths and resources so you can find real and long-lasting solutions to the issues that concern you.

I have spent many years working with individuals of different ages, backgrounds and circumstances. This experience has given me a strong belief in the resilience of people and their capacity to develop new skills that will help them create a more emotionally satisfying life. You don’t have to continue to feel discouraged. Change is possible.
