Personal Statement
I really enjoy the opportunity and privilege of working with people who desire change, who may be experiencing pain, and those searching for answers. It is humbling yet exciting work. I respect the risk involved on the part of the client. I work to assist people to identify and utilize their own resources to change, grow and cope. I work in a direct yet warm and compassionate manner to diligently pursue solutions in response to the presenting problem. I tend to be goal focused and partner with the client to pursue the identified goals. I use a variety of intervention techniques from my clinical training and experience. Each case is approached individually.
I have a passion for seeing individuals, marriages and families grow to be strong and healthy in the midst of the struggles, challenges and injustice which life brings.
