She earned her Master's Degree at the New School for Social Research in New York. Her clinical training was extensive and spanned over 5 years of inpatient and outpatient work at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Lakeside V.A., Charter Barclay Hospital and Michael Reese Hospital.
