Rebecca Mueller holds a Docotorate in Clinical Psychology. In addition to her formal clinical training in insight oriented talk therapy, she has completed numerous clinical seminars on anxiety, mind-body therapies, relationship issues, parenting. She is also a National Board Certified Hypnotherapist and has completed a three-year apprenticeship in Andean/Peruvian shamanic spiritual and healing practices. Rebecca Mueller also has had extensive experience in business and marketing and holds an MBA.

Personal Statement

At the core of my work, is my personal and clinical faith in an individual's innate capacity to grow and adapt. Unfortunate life circumstances sometimes interfere with that process. When the process is stalled, depression, anxiety or both may result.

In therapy, my intention is to create a collaborative environment in which my clients feel supported and guided in their individual healing processes. My goal is to help them be able to negotiate life challenges with greater ease and ultimately achieve greater satisfaction in life.

Depending on the needs and interests of the individual, I draw on a variety of techniques from many traditions: insight-oriented talk therapy; hypnotherapy; breathwork; relaxation; visualization; experiential, indigenous healing practices; dreamwork; mindfulness practices.
