He has been a consultant for county, city and state police and has done contractual work for agencies providing services for juvenile offenders, children in need of assistance (CINA), and children in need of supervision (CINS). Mr. Schnuit was also employed by the state department of health and mental hygiene providing clinical services to chronically mentally ill patients in an in-patient psychiatric hospital. In my 14 years of practice I have helped adults, children, and teens overcome a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, anger problems, and alcohol and drug addictions using traditional (cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy) and non-traditional (Eastern philosophy and meditation, art therapy, and psychodrama) methods.

I believe that all people have the ability to help themselves, but sometimes due to overwhelming life circumstances, hardships, and crises; they become "stuck." My role as therapist is to help them to mobilize their own resources, tap into their inner strengths, and activate their own self-healing processes. This can be accomplished using individual, family, and group therapies, based on your specific treatment needs.
