Dr. Winebarger is a fully licensed psychologist in southwest Michigan who assists families and individuals dealing with Attention Deficit Disorder, family difficulties, and behavioral problems.
Overview
Dr. Winebarger received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Oregon, one of the top-rated clinical psychology doctoral programs in the United States, in 1994. Dr. Winebarger his extensive experience in the assessment of Attention Deficit Disorder, and with the design and implementation of behavioral and family interventions targeting difficulties associated with this disorder. He has started numerous ADD/ADHD services across the country, and is the co-founder and original Clinical Director of the Wyoming Attention Camp Project. He is currently the Clinical Director of Western Behavioral Consulting, the Clinical Director of the Grand Haven Attention Camp Project, and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Psychology, at Grand Valley State University. Dr. Winebarger also has extensive experience in providing individual therapy services, EAP services, and school consultation services.

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist I believe in service, quality, and respect. Simply put, I believe that I have a duty to be knowledgeable in my areas of expertise, to be efficient in the manner in which I share such knowledge with families and individuals, and to work with families individuals in ways that respect their value systems and life histories. As a professional, I believe it is essential to teach skills that individuals and families can successfully use in their real lives, and in meeting their day-to-day challenges. Consequently, I typically apply behavioral and cognitive-behavioral techniques and approaches that have been scientifically evaluated and validated.
